Founded by Lise Coirier and Gian Giuseppe Simeone, Spazio Nobile has built its identity around the intersection of contemporary applied arts and fine art. The gallery promotes a dialogue between materiality, high end craftsmanship, and artistic expression across disciplines — from contemporary ceramics and glass to wood, metal, textiles and art photography.
Spazio Nobile At Home is a unique curatorial format launched in 2021. Hosted in the founders’ private villa in Tervuren, just outside Brussels, it offers a living exhibition space where contemporary works are integrated into an early 20th-century eclectic Art Nouveau and neo-classical setting.
Built in 1900 with additions from the 1950s — including a Cubex kitchen and a winter garden — the house is part of a historic architectural promenade near the Africa Museum and the former Palais des Colonies. Its interiors have been respectfully renovated by Belgian architects Anne Derasse and Sébastien Caporusso. The surrounding garden, redesigned by landscape architect Aldrik Heirman, connects nature and architecture in full harmony.
Over the past five years, six exhibitions have been held at Spazio Nobile At Home, showcasing works by artists and designers such as Vincent Fournier, Ernst Gamperl, Éva Garcia, Garnier & Linker, Kaspar Hamacher, Pao Hui Kao, Åsa Jungnelius, Laura Laine, Isaac Monté, Päivi Rintaniemi, Bela Silva, Vera Vermeersch, Piet Stockmans, Ann Beate Tempelhaug, Joost van Bleiswijk, Kiki van Eijk, Frederik Vercruysse, Fabian von Spreckelsen and Quentin Vuong…
Each exhibition reflects the gallery’s vision: bringing together collectible design and contemporary fine art in a way that is immersive, emotional, and deeply connected to place. The villa becomes both stage and canvas — a setting where art and life merge seamlessly.
Through Spazio Nobile At Home, the gallery continues to explore new ways of experiencing art, where heritage, experimentation and the handmade meet in a refined and timeless environment.
