Endemic to [Magnetis-9e], Leucothamnus aurorae has evolved elongated, conductive petals that capture electrostatic charges from ionized winds. The presence of metallic oxides in the atmosphere enriches its red pigmentation, intensified by exposure to powerful polar auroras. Its thick basal foliage shields internal tissues from radiation, while its shallow roots absorb volatile minerals released by magnetic storms.
