Régis Mayot was born in 1970 in Metz and studied architecture in Strasbourg and decorative arts in Paris. After a long work with plastics – the “Bidonvilles, Mînes, still life, Red-cube armchair” sculptures – “Jeanne & Cie” is a memory work, an object-sculpture, an object that holds the history of the valley and the men’s know-how.
